Muk Badhir Vidyalaya, Latur

The School started with duly approval and sanction of Social welfare Dept. of Maharashtra State in the year 1981-82 and the then Collector and the present Chief Secretary, Govt. of Maharashtra Hon. Shri J.P. Dange inaugurated the opening ceremony in the building of Municipality at Signal Camp, Latur. The working of the school is as per the directions of the School Management Committee

During the year 2012-13, approved No. of Students is residential 150, Non- residential 50. Actually there are 181 students as residential & 55 students as non- residential. 36 students are excess than approval. The expenditure of these 36 students is incurred by Jeevan Vikas Pratishthan. Latur.

Educational Activities

Since last 2 years, we have tried to teach grammar to the students from First year for their Language development. And it is observed that there is notable progress in the language of Students. Regular inspection of home work is emphasized. For the students of 10th class, special classes, tests, examinations, ,guidance in respect of good conduct, quality living, regularity, hygiene given to the students.

Cultural Activities

Our students presented a child play named “Bujgavane”, written & directed by Smt. Sunita Kulkarni, in the competition sponsored by Natyashala Charity Trust, Mumbai at Barshi Dist. Solapur. In the First Round Competition the play won First prize & Child play was selected for the Final Round & won Five Prizes in the final round. Our students Vaibhav Panchal & Bhagvat Kharajgutte won Certificates of Acting.

Our students presented a Balnatya named “Manatali Sutti”, in the State Level Balnatya Competition sponsored by Govt. of Maharashtra & won 4 Prizes.In the Final Round at Ahmednagar, this Balnatya won 4 Prizes. Our students Namdev Sane won Silver Medal in Acting & Vaibhav Panchal won Acting Certificate.

Drawing Activities

Our 82 students participated in the Drawing Competition on 14-10-2012 sponsored by Rotary Club of Midtown, Latur. In this competition 5 students won First Prizes, 4 students won Second Prizes, 2 students won Third Prizes.

Our 2 students won Prizes in the Divisional Level Drawing Competition sponsored by Swapnapurti Kala Academy

Our students Mukund Babasaheb More participated in Sakal Balmitra Drawing Competition dated 03-02-2013 & won cash prize of Rs. 1000 in this state level Competition.

Our 2 students won cash prize of Rs. 1000 & Rs.250 in the divisional competition sponsored by Sakal

Our 3 students won First Prizes, 3 students won Second Prizes & 18 students won supporting prizes in the Centre Level Drawing Competition sponsored by Sakal.

Our 8 students passed in Grade “A”& 2 students passed in Grade “B”,in the Maharashtra State Elementary Grade Examination. In the same way, our 2 students passed in Grade "A", 5 students passed in Grade "C", in the Intermediate Grade Examination.

Sports Activities

Our 25 students participated in the Dist. Level Sports Competition sponsored by SSA, Social Welfare Dept.ZP Latur & Jeevan Vikas Pratishthan Latur.In this Competition, Our students won 11 First Prizes & 11 Second Prizes.8 students were selected for State Level Competition which was held at Solapur & Our students won 2 Gold Medals & 1 Silver Medals in this State Level Competition

Our students of 8th & 10th class made School Uniform & Parkar for ladies in the practical work & earned Rs.6000 during the year.
National / International Days / Activities , Anniversaries of National Leaders, National Festivals, Religious Festivals etc have been celebrated in our school.
